CHIROHEALTH OF NORTH CAROLINA

ChiroHealth Mission Statement:

ChiroHealth of North Carolina is dedicated to providing excellence in community outreach/education initiatives and practice support services to promote patient access to necessary chiropractic care, advocate for spinal health awareness, and increase the visibility of the chiropractic profession.

The idea is to better the lives of our neighbors by providing educational and supportive services to promote greater access to high quality chiropractic treatment.  Based on widely accepted statistics, only approximately 10-15% of American citizens utilize chiropractic treatment.  Using this percentage to analyze the large city of Charlotte, NC, there are approximately half a million citizens who do not receive chiropractic care.  It is Melissa's belief that this under-utilization may be a result of our neighbors being uniformed or misinformed about the treatment option combined with a general lack of exposure to chiropractic in a positive way.  This is precisely why Melissa feels it is so important to invest in educational initiatives in our communities statewide and helps physicians with their public relations strategies.

Melissa also recognizes that standardized training for staff members is critical to the long-term growth and acceptance of the chiropractic profession by the community.  As more chiropractors realize the benefits and necessity of staff training, there will emerge the next generation of patient-focused practices with highly skilled staff members that exude a comforting confidence in their doctor, truly care about the health of their patients, and create an environment highlighting their enthusiasm for and knowledge about chiropractic.  At that point, exceptional patient experiences will be more commonplace than ever in the chiropractic office, with our neighbors understanding the importance of chiropractic treatment in their lives.
